Film Series Opens with ‘Paris je t’aime’

Sweet Briar College’s fall film series opens with “Paris je t’aime” on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1. Admission is free. All movies will be screened at 7:30 p.m. in Tyson Auditorium.

“Paris, je t’aime,” or “Paris, I love you,” is about the plurality of cinema in one mythic location: Paris, the City of Love. In the movie, 20 filmmakers bring their own personal touch, underlining the wide variety of styles, genres, encounters and the various atmospheres and lifestyles that prevail in the neighborhoods of Paris. The film is rated R.
