Rolling Stone: No moss gathering here

| October 15, 2015

New York Alumnae Club members turned out in big numbers to meet President Stone, despite the blustery, rainy weather in the Northeast on Friday, Oct. 2.

President Phil Stone isn’t letting the dust settle under his feet. He has been hitting the road to meet alumnae across the country in town hall-style meetings to talk about the state of the College and its priorities.

He is visiting weekly with alumnae clubs in areas such as Atlanta, Birmingham, Ala., and Washington, D.C., and will continue his travel schedule until Thanksgiving. His itinerary resumes in January with stops in more U.S. cities and abroad. Along the way, the president is engaging alumnae in the College’s ongoing efforts to raise funds, recruit new students and elevate Sweet Briar’s profile.
