Learning on the Land
If you’re a new student this fall, you’ll participate in our “Learning on the Land” program.
These exploratory sessions examine the Sweet Briar environment from different perspectives such as anthropology, art, ecology, horticulture, technology and music. Options may include canoeing and swimming in the Lower Lake or exploring our 18 miles of trails on foot, bike or horseback.
The experiences are as vastly different as the faculty, staff and students leading them.
