The Office of Student Involvement and Programs also employs Student Activities Representatives (StARs) to serve as programming assistants. StARs are responsible for creating programming ideas, marketing for programs, and supporting the Office of Student Involvement and Programs in all initiatives. StARs also offer assistance and advice to the Campus Events Organization and other student organizations interested in programming. StARs are the primary staff for weekend events, coordinate the Sweet Funds program, and oversee the Winter Mixer, along with various off-campus trips. StARS are typically hired in the spring semester for the following year.
